As the owner and founder of Hammersley Contractors since 2016, James has an excellent background in most traces in the building industry and a great eye for design and planning. James joined the Royal Engineers in 1998, picking up new skills and applying them all over the world. In James' spare time, he likes going on family camper van holidays with his wife, daughter and two dogs and hiking.
With over 40 years experience in all areas of the building trade, Ian has done it all. Plumbing, mechanical engineering and home inspector (domestic servicing), as well as owning his own building company. Ian decided to go out into the world as a sole trader, putting to good use all his skills he has picked up over the years. After COVID, Ian met James (Hammersley Contractors) and has been with him ever since. In Ian’s spare time, he enjoys the taste of a real ale, tapping his feet to come rock music and getting out in the outdoors, hiking.
Danny has been in the building industry since he left school. Earning a Distinction in City and Guilds qualifications, Danny has worked for a few different local builders, building up his knowledge and skills along the way. After being a contract manger for a few years, Danny decided to go self employed and has been with Hammersley Contractors since March 2024. In Danny’s spare time he enjoys the football, FI and letting lose at a music gig.
Kostantin, also known as Kosta, has worked for Hammersley Contractors for 4 months. Prior to that he was a chef for 2 years. He has a level 2 catering qualification from East Coast College. As of September Kosta will be starting a carpentry apprenticeship with Hammersley Contractors. In Kosta’s spare time he likes to go to the gym and socialise with family and friends.
Kian has been working for Hammersley Contractors since he was an apprentice back in 2020. Kian did a three year bricklaying apprenticeship at Yarmouth College and passed in 2023. In Kian’s spare time he likes tinkering with his cars.
Max has worked for Hammersley Contractors for the past 2 years. He has a great background knowledge of the building industry and has worked many different roles over his time. One of Max’s interest is collecting Vinyl records. He also likes to travel, spending time with his two daughters and just enjoying life in general.
Jade has been with Hammersley Contractors since April 2024. She has a background in administration work from her previous job. She is learning new skills, knowledge, and understanding within the building industry. In her spare time she likes to go on walks with her dog, days out with her daughter and socialising with friends.
